Hi! Thank you for visiting my website. I’m Emmalisa,
a Naturopathy Student who loves to take Vitamins and Supplements that covers nutritional bases for the human body. Have a look around and I hope you like what you see!

I am inspired to help and care for people in the Naturopathic sector, and wish to see you checking out my page as I am a student living in Perth, Western Australia and in the day I work on two courses, this and Social Media Marketing through Pacific Training in Sydney, but online. As mentioned in my ‘About’ page, I also work on music but have currently stopped doing music demos to focus on releasing a second single, “A Road Trip Song”, and I cannot wait to release it to the world!! My music website is Emmalisa Tilli Music and my first ever single was “Mood to Party“.

I am currently studying a Certificate of Naturopathy with the Health Academy Australia. Late 2020, I suddenly became interested in the field of Health and Wellness and wanted to start an online Health Coach business or become a Naturopath, as I loved the idea of helping people with using natural remedies to restore and revitalise their body, mind and spirit. The reason why I became so fascinated is because I came across so many Naturopath Students Instagrams that really had a visual and creative gram that stood out to me showing healthy foods such as smoothies and Acai bowls, nature and amazing inspirational quotes.

I also went through an episode where I then became interested in Mental Health and wanted to reach out with other people that may have gone through the same thing or similar situations. Once I have my Certificate behind me I wish to do further studies doing an Advanced Certificate of Naturopathy and then do a Bachelor of Health Science. That is my dream. I wish to study with Endeavour College as they are one of the most leading educators for the field. I have a special interest in Mental Health, Herbal and Plant Based Medicines, and I will be doing an elective in Herbal Medicine. I also have an interest in gut health, weight loss, Iridology, Aromatherapy, and Nutrition. There are many courses I can do with my training provider so can further educate myself in different fields.

So, have a look around at my Recipe section and other pages that I will eventually add, and I will be adding more to the Herbal Medicines page when I learn a bit more about it in the Module Foundations of Herbal Medicine in my Health Academy Australia Course.

I have finished my first Module, Nutrition I and am doing a PBL Report on Coeliacs disease for people that need to be aware of it, and those that know nothing about it. It has been interesting thus far and I intend to learn as much as I can in the field of Naturopathy.

The next Module I will move onto will be Foundations of Naturopathy, as I have finished Foundations of Human Nutrition.

The Foundations of Human Nutrition covers comprehensively all the areas of Human Nutrition. The course gives you a solid grounding in Nutrition, how the human body works with nutrition, a balanced diet, the biochemical components and physiological functions involved in the human body. I learnt about all the different diets and distinguished between the fad diets and facts. It also covered various nutritional disorders.

The Foundations of Naturopathic and Alternative Medicine is an in depth and detailed course covering not only the history and principles of naturopathic practices globally, but also processes of healing, and recommended approaches to take when you are consulting with clients.

The Course Covers the Below Topics:

  • Naturopathic Principles
  • Naturopathic Medicine in Practice
  • Process of Disease and Healing – The Vis in Action
  • Tolle Totem – Treat the Whole Person
  • The Landscape of Natural and Traditional Medicines: Complementary, Natural, Holistic, Traditional, Alternative, Integrative
  • Introduction to traditional medicine around the world – Part 1
  • Introduction to traditional medicine around the world – Part 2
  • Homeopathic medicine
  • Manual Therapies
  • Modern Naturopathic medicine

My elective will be Foundations of Herbal Medicine in which the course will cover the following topics:

Topic 1: History, Philosophies and Principles of Herbal Medicine

Topic 2: Plant and Herb Classification/Identification

Topic 3: Properties of Herbal Medicine and Formulations

Topic 4: Herbal Medicine for Respiratory and Immune Systems

Topic 5: Herbal Medicine for Cardiovascular and Musculoskeletal Systems

Topic 6: Herbal Medicine for Dermatological and Urinary Systems

Topic 7: Herbal Medicine for Digestive and Hepatobiliary Systems

Topic 8: Herbal Medicine for Nervous Systems and Psychology

I can’t WAIT to do Herbal Medicine as it is a passion of mine and I find it SO fascinating learning on what to grow in the garden and using different plants for different things and using them as a dietary supplement, such as powders, teas and fresh plants that helps to maintain and improve and enhance general health and wellbeing.

I will also do a seperate page showcasing my favourite Health Stores, and suppliers for Health Products.
